Collection and use of personal information
When creating an account you have to provide your email address and your name. Occasionally we might send you email updates, which you can opt out anytime.
Neighbourhood emergency group
If you want to belong to a neighbourhood emergency group you have to provide your full name, cellphone number, physical address and radio sign if any. The administrators can retrieve your personal information and share it with the local community and/or emergency service providers in order to assist you or notify you about security or issues that need to be dealt with promptly (e.g. your gate is open, you have a water leak etc). When a member posts a message on Trackme2 or our Telegram emergency group, the members' cellphone, address, name and radio sign will be displayed automatically. In this way other members of the community or emergency services can locate you in an emergency. While this is the purpose of displaying this information, we will not be responsible for the data displayed, e.g. if a member of the emergency group misuses it for marketing purposes. In such an event, that member should be reported and will be removed from the group.
When using Trackme2 app you have to provide your name, email address and cellphone number.
In normal mode Trackme2 sends your current GPS location to the devices you choose (friends and family). This functionality can be disabled any time through settings - Data & sync - Send location in normal mode.
If you are member of a neighbourhood emergency group, in fast mode (requesting help or patrolling) Trackme2 sends your current GPS location to the devices on the emergency groups.
When you add a friend on Trackme2 an email mentioning your name and your email address will be sent to your friend as an invitation.
No sale of personal information
Under no circumstances we will sell or receive payment for licensing or disclosing your personal information.
